Vacation to another island

Well I'm off to Pangkalan Kerinci tomorrow (what is that weird name? just browse it) to stay there until mid July. That place is not my hometown, but
1. my Father has a workshop there
2. my brother also lives there with his wife
3.  I spent my elementary and junior high there, exactly 7 years

This tiny town doesn't have any cinema or mall, so i'm gonna think right now, What i'm suppose to do these two weeks?

Daily sketching excercise, writing and browing, hunting, and............resting my mind from nowadays broken heart matter.

----------------------------------------
I've got tangerang again! honestly on july 3rd...but hardly make an effort to write again...*sigh.
I spent my ten days in pangkalan kerinci cause my mom shoul have a pet scan again in Jakarta. Going there doesn't help my feeling, but it helps me to improve my hand. I do some sketches of my family...and a lil bit glad cause i can skip two hours of being depressed.

left: my sis| right: my dad

above are two of my fav...the most hard to be sketch is my mom...sorry mom, i'll try again :(
 Here are another photos:
some old photograph, it's so vintage. if you look the right pic, i'm on number 3...looked chubby.
in fact there are 8 baby ducks...daddy said it used to be 20. 0.0
I ate a lot berries here. While i was picking the berries, a chicken under the tree was eating the rotten berries. What a peace morning.
a new member of our local doggy clan. wkwk. His name is Ketaro.

Oh ya and now i'm using blackberry, i've said that i will win a blackberry from a writing contest i've enrolled and i also said don't buy it first....but then my bro came home with it. I'm happy, but why don't you buy me the cheaper one and the rest for buying me a tablet. But what can i say....he said it's from daddy for my graduation. Hmmm...thanks dad...

Bali 2012 part one

Farewell in Bali is  an annual routine for the twelfth grader in my school, but it is optional. Bali truly means a paradise island for us after those tremendous tests in a row.
Here are some photos of our 6D/1N tour in Bali!  :)

Sunday, April 29th
Straight from the airport, we went to Tanah Lot. Sadly it was cloudy and drizzling therefore we should forget about sunset. :(

Lucky me, i found something to subtitue the sunset. There was a traditional ceremony, probably to thank God for the children. People use their traditional clothes, and the parents looks very happy.

Monday, April 30th
Early int he morning, we did water sport at Tanjung Benoa. There are some choices, parasailing, jelly fish, burger, banana boat, speedboard, and also you can go to turtle island.

I tried to use my infrared filter beneath a sunny sky,  but until now i don't get it, please someone tell me how.

On the same day, we also visited uluwatu and dreamland beach. Uluwatu  is a Hindu temple , there are so many monkeys inhabit this place.Watch your stuffs from this little pickpocket!

From the cliff we can see a picturesque sight of the ocean. It has blue, turqoise and white colors mixed.

So sorry that i don't have any picture on dreamland beach. I played there without thinking about clothes and bath. (after having a ninja's bath, my body still full of sand, whereas we still need to go for dinner at Jimbaran). But that was my first time being rolled by waves! shocked 0.0 and also happy ^^

Sorry for this poor photographer wannabe. My passive character has been a problem since i got my first camera.Oh ya, We have free time until 11 pm, we spent our time in a restaurant name Kopi Pot. I enjoyed my sit there.

I will post the rest later, now i should pack for tomorrow.

New hobby: Philately

I still don't know how people really into their hobbies. I never get this excited about hobby, even photography, writing, and painting are listed to be my hobby. Recently, I put a big hope on my new hobby, look at the title once more. Huge thanks to www.postcrossing.com that brings me to this activities of sending and receiving postcards around the world.

It began with some advertising postcards that i picked at the hotel in Bali last month (maybe the next post i'm gonna tell you my story there). And what a coincidence my sister saw that free postcards and knowing that her little sister love them, then she gave me all her old collection of adv. postcards! I was really happy that night, though i should clean them up from stain and dust. She kept them under sink, don't keep any of ur collection in a humid place like that. =="

My first postcard arrived in Netherlands after waiting around two weeks , i gave her a scenery in Bali, and she said:
"Hi Fian, thank you for your postcard with the Temple on Bali. I hear from everyone who has been to Bali they loved it. One of my ancestors was from Bali, he came to the Netherlands as a servant with a fabric salesman. I really hope to get to Bali one day but I haven enough leave days yet. Thank you again and lots of fun with postcrossing, Sophie"
What about the first postcard that i received? It is from new zealand (the country i want to visit the most)
I got it on June 14th'12. Postman threw it on the floor, and i already found it after rain. Don't ask why the picture looks horrible! Fortunately i still could see the beautiful stamps and the back side clearly.

And this is my 2nd postcard from Netherlands, i got it on JUne 21st'2012, nope it's not because of rain. Postman folded and tucked it between my fence!!! *arg

To handle those unpleasant situation, finally i bought a mailbox at ace hardware. Just if i could make my own.....  that's become my 'unpredictable' allocation this month.

Here some advices for those who wants to start this hobby: *particularly in Indonesia
1. Make sure that you already have a mailbox!
2. Check the mailing cost in the internet, don't ask your postoffice officer or else they will generally ask you to buy a RP.10.000 stamp for each postcard that u send abroad.
3. Be careful when someone asking you for direct swaps, even their message seems friendly.

Allright....Happy postcrossing! Hope this hobby will be long lasting in me. :p

Prime posting

This is my... uncountable first posting for starting a new blog. Actually i forgot how many blogs that i made and deleted and forgot the password. Honestly i'm not really keen to start blogging, but after i opened someone blog this evening...i felt being challenged and inspired.  It's not because his/her life is more interesting than mine. It's how become excited facing our own life and documenting things into a fascinating post. And in this blog i'm trying to write full in english, sorry for my grammatical error. :p
Allright, with this *clapping hands effect* i announce this soft opening of my new blog for public. "Each day is a gift" :)
